Can you believe it’s Christmas time already? 2022 has been a very exciting year and has brought with it some truly exciting Christmas trends! We are ecstatic to share with you the 2022 Christmas forecast.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with nostalgic Christmas decorations. Snowmen, tinsel, old trucks with a wooden railing around the bed. All of that is purely wonderful. It evokes the best memories of our childhood. Pair that up with the classic songs and you are taking a trip down memory lane.

But it’s also nice to change it up a bit too. Create your own traditions and find your own style when decorating. Then your children might have their very own unique nostalgia around Christmas.

Natural Colors

Bright red and deep green will always have a special place in our hearts. More natural colors such as lighter greens, white, and woody browns give us more of a forestry feel. Which is really nice. Woodland creatures and Christmas seem to go hand in hand.

Different and more natural textures are also very popular. Aspen logs, stone, and cork all add depth and make it more interesting.

Natural and simple wreaths are becoming popular as well. Something as simple as a grapevine wreath with some holly and a little bit of greenery looks simple and elegant. The best part about natural decor is most of it is DIY. Just step foot outside and start putting things together.

2022 Christmas Trends: Alternative Christmas Trees

Now before you go rolling your eyes and telling me to shut up, just hear me out.

Cactus Christmas Tree.

Seems fitting for Phoenix doesn’t it?  More fitting than a conifer really… okay okay we won’t go that far but it does sound like a bit of fun.

Plus, you won’t be needlessly cutting down a tree just to display it in your living room for a month. You won’t have to worry about the cat climbing up it either!

Well, he might try it once…

Alternative trees might not be a new tradition for you and your family but it might be kind of fun to step out of the box every once in a while and try something different.

Sustainable Wrapping

Seems like a waste doesn’t it? Wrapping a Christmas present up to look so pretty, just to be ripped up and thrown away?

Just in America, we throw away 25% more garbage during the Christmas season than any other part of the year. That equates to 1 million extra tons of garbage PER WEEK. At this point, it would be wrong not to find a different solution… We love the environment and our planet and want to do all we can to keep it the way it is or better.

Online you can find tons of different wrapping options. Wrapping cloth known as Furoshiki from Japan comes in a variety of different patterns. It is reusable and washable. So really it’s kind of two gifts in one. Now the person receiving the gift has something for next Christmas!

Different options such as reusable bags or boxes are easy and affordable. Also, just the plain brown paper will at least decompose at the landfill. As a bonus, it looks picturesque when tying it up with a string.

Homemade Gifts

I think we can all agree that when someone actually puts time and energy into a gift instead of just money, it means so much more. When they take the time to paint a picture or knit you a sweater it just makes us feel more loved.

Even if you don’t have an artistic bone in your body there are options available. You can find so many different ideas on the internet for all skill levels. Did you spend all of 2020 locked in your apartment doodling? Or Knitting? Now is the time to show off your new hobby!

Heck, start early and plant a seed in a container and give them a home-grown plant. The options are endless!

2022 Christmas Trends: Service Gifts

Subscription gifts, cooking classes, or cleaning services are great gifts for people who already have everything.

Does your mom love to host holiday parties? Give her the gift of a clean house by setting up an appointment with Zerorez. Depending on whether she would want it before the party so it can be enjoyed by everyone, or after the party to help clean up the spills. This gift will be a huge help!

Since we don’t use soaps or harsh chemicals to clean the surfaces will stay cleaner longer. Instead, we use our Zr Water® which is an electrolyzed high alkaline water that has the power of soap without all of the negative effects! Mom can even try it out for herself, it can be used as an all-purpose cleaner degreaser.

Zr Water has a ton of uses and we guarantee it will be loved by all. Kitchen messes, kids’ toys, windows, anything! Clean-up is a breeze!

Don’t just take our word for it either, check out our 4.9-star rating on Google. Read what everyone else in the Phoenix valley has to say.
